Windows could not read or write a drive while copying, installing or backing up.

Common causes

• A failing USB stick or disk
• A loose cable

How to fix it

1. Try another USB port and cable.
2. Check the drive in CrystalDiskInfo.
3. Copy important files off first if the drive shows errors.
