Microsoft Store won't open

What it means

The Microsoft Store could not reach its service or its cache is broken.

Common causes

• Wrong date and time
• A proxy or DNS filter
• A broken Store cache

How to fix it

1. Set date and time to automatic.
2. Run wsreset.exe from the Start menu.
3. Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Store > Advanced options > Reset.
