Stack overflow
What it means
The program called itself or its functions too deeply and ran out of stack space, which is a bug rather than a Windows fault.
Common causes
- A bug in the app or a plugin
- A mod or extension that recurses too far
- A damaged save or configuration file
How to fix it
- Remove plugins, mods or extensions and test the app again.
- Update the app to the current version.
- Start it with a clean configuration: rename its settings folder in
%AppData%and let it create a new one. - If it still crashes, report the steps to the maker; only they can fix the recursion.
