What it means
The PC fails a hardware check for the new Windows version, often TPM 2.0, Secure Boot or the CPU list.
Common causes
- TPM (fTPM / PTT) or Secure Boot is off in the BIOS
- An older CPU
How to fix it
- Run PC Health Check to see which requirement fails.
- In the BIOS, turn on fTPM (AMD) or PTT (Intel) and Secure Boot.
- Older CPUs: stay on your current version, it keeps getting security updates until its end date.
