This app can't run on your PC
What it means
The installer is built for another processor architecture or a newer Windows, so Windows refuses to start it.
Common causes
- A 64-bit installer on a 32-bit Windows
- An ARM build on an x64 PC, or the other way round
- A corrupt download that no longer carries a valid executable header
How to fix it
- Check the architecture in Settings > System > About, then download the matching installer from the vendor.
- On ARM devices enable the emulation options in Settings > System > For developers if the app is x64 only.
- Download the installer again: a truncated file produces the same message.
