BOOT LED
The PC posts but finds no boot device
What it means
CPU, RAM and GPU passed, but the board cannot hand over to a bootable drive.
Common causes
- The BIOS does not see the drive
- The boot order points at the wrong device
- The drive is empty or its boot files are gone
How to fix it
- Open the BIOS and check whether the drive appears in the storage list.
- Reseat an M.2 or SATA drive and its cable, then check again.
- Set the boot order to Windows Boot Manager and match UEFI/CSM to how Windows was installed.
- If the drive is visible but empty, install Windows or restore the boot files from a USB stick.
