CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
What it means
One CPU core stopped answering the others in time.
Common causes
- CPU overclock or undervolt
- Outdated BIOS or chipset driver
- Overheating CPU
How to fix it
- Undo any overclock or undervolt, including XMP/EXPO memory profiles, and test at stock settings for a day.
- Update the graphics, chipset and network drivers from the maker's site (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel or your board vendor), not from a driver-updater tool.
- Check CPU temperatures with HWiNFO and make sure the cooler is mounted properly.
