Code 39

Windows cannot load the device driver

What it means

The driver file is missing or damaged.

Common causes

• A damaged driver
• Leftover filter drivers

How to fix it

1. Uninstall the device and its driver, restart.
2. Install the latest driver from the maker.
3. Open Terminal (Admin) and run sfc /scannow, then DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Restart afterwards.
