CPU Fan Error
The board reports no CPU fan
What it means
The CPU fan header reports no RPM, so the board stops at boot to protect the processor.
Common causes
- The cooler is on the wrong header
- An AIO pump is on CPU_FAN and spins slower than the warning threshold
- A failed fan or cable
How to fix it
- Connect an air cooler to CPU_FAN; connect an AIO pump to AIO_PUMP or PUMP_FAN.
- Check that the fan cable is fully seated and the fan spins at boot.
- In the BIOS, confirm the CPU fan speed reads a real RPM.
- Only disable the warning after confirming the pump or fan works.
