D3DCOMPILER_47.dll
D3DCOMPILER_47.dll is missing
What it means
The program needs the Direct3D shader compiler from the DirectX runtime, which old installs and some clean systems lack.
Common causes
- The DirectX End-User Runtime is not installed
- A game skipped its redistributable step
- Windows is missing an update that ships the DLL
How to fix it
- Install the DirectX End-User Runtime from Microsoft; it also fills in d3dx9, d3dx11 and XInput.
- Run the game's own redistributable from its
_CommonRedistorredistfolder. - Install pending Windows updates, then restart.
- Only as a last resort, copy the DLL from the game's redist folder, never from a download site.
