DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Site address could not be found

What it means

Your DNS server could not turn the website name into an address.

Common causes

• A typo in the address
• Your DNS server is down or blocking the site
• A stale DNS cache

How to fix it

1. Check the spelling of the address.
2. Flush DNS: run ipconfig /flushdns in Terminal, then reload the page.
3. Switch to a public DNS like 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9 (Settings > Network > adapter > DNS server assignment).
4. Restart the router and modem: power off for 30 seconds, then on again.
