DRAM LED
The board stops on DRAM
What it means
The motherboard's memory check did not pass, so POST stops before the PC can show a picture.
Common causes
- A stick not seated fully
- Wrong slots or an unstable XMP/EXPO profile
- A faulty stick or memory controller
How to fix it
- Switch the PC off, unplug it and reseat the RAM until both clips click.
- Try one stick at a time in the slot the manual recommends (usually A2), then the other stick.
- Clear CMOS to drop XMP/EXPO and test at stock speed.
- If no stick works alone, the board or CPU memory controller is the next suspect.
