ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED

The connection was aborted

What it means

The connection was closed from one side in the middle of the request, often by a proxy, VPN or antivirus that inspects traffic.

Common causes

• Antivirus HTTPS scanning
• VPN or proxy dropping the session
• Network adapter driver resetting

How to fix it

1. Turn off HTTPS scanning in the antivirus for a test.
2. Disable the VPN or proxy and reload.
3. Update the network adapter driver from the board or laptop maker.
4. Run netsh winsock reset and ipconfig /flushdns in Terminal (Admin), then restart the PC.
