ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

The site took too long to respond

What it means

Your browser asked the site for a page and got no answer in time.

Common causes

• The site is down
• Your connection or a firewall blocks it
• A proxy or VPN problem

How to fix it

1. Open the site on your phone over mobile data to see whether it is down for everyone.
2. Disconnect VPN and proxy, then retry.
3. Flush DNS: run ipconfig /flushdns in Terminal, then reload the page.
4. Restart the router and modem: power off for 30 seconds, then on again.
