HTTP/2 protocol error
What it means
The server and browser disagreed about the HTTP/2 stream, so the response was thrown away.
Common causes
- A CDN or server bug under load
- An extension or antivirus rewriting responses
- QUIC or HTTP/2 support in the network stack
How to fix it
- Reload and try another browser to see whether the site or the client is at fault.
- Open the browser's extensions page, disable everything, then switch extensions back on one at a time to find the culprit.
- Turn off QUIC in the browser's flags or settings and test again.
- If it is your site, check the CDN and server logs for HTTP/2 resets.
