ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

The site's address could not be found

What it means

The browser asked a DNS server for the site's address and got no answer, so it never tried to connect.

Common causes

• DNS server unreachable or wrong
• A VPN, proxy or hosts file blocks the name
• The site's DNS record is missing or mistyped

How to fix it

1. Flush DNS: run ipconfig /flushdns in Terminal, then reload the page.
2. Switch to another DNS (1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9) in the adapter settings and test again.
3. Turn the VPN off and check the hosts file for entries you did not add.
4. Try the site on your phone on mobile data to see whether it is the site.
