What it means
The PC sends a resolution or refresh rate the monitor does not support.
Common causes
- A refresh rate set too high
- A custom resolution
How to fix it
- Wait 15 seconds: Windows reverts unconfirmed display changes.
- Boot into Safe Mode (it uses a basic resolution) and set a supported mode.
- Use the monitor's native mode from its manual.
