MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
What it means
Windows found a serious error in how memory is used. Most of the time the RAM itself is the problem.
Common causes
- Faulty RAM stick
- Too aggressive XMP/EXPO or memory overclock
- A driver writing to wrong memory
How to fix it
- Undo any overclock or undervolt, including XMP/EXPO memory profiles, and test at stock settings for a day.
- Test the RAM: run Windows Memory Diagnostic (search
mdsched) or MemTest86 from a USB stick. Any error means a stick or its speed setting is the problem. - Test one RAM stick at a time to find a bad one.
- Open Terminal (Admin) and run
sfc /scannow, thenDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Restart afterwards.
