What it means
The monitor gets no picture from the PC on the input it is set to.
Common causes
- Cable in the motherboard instead of the graphics card
- Wrong input selected
- PC not finishing POST
How to fix it
- Plug the cable into the graphics card, not the motherboard.
- Pick the right input on the monitor's menu.
- Try another cable or port (DisplayPort vs HDMI).
- Watch the board's debug LEDs: a lit DRAM or VGA light points at that part.
