No Internet, secured

Connected but no internet

What it means

Windows is connected to the Wi-Fi or cable, but cannot reach the internet through it.

Common causes

• Router has no internet
• DNS problem
• IP conflict

How to fix it

1. Test another device on the same network.
2. Restart the router and modem: power off for 30 seconds, then on again.
3. Flush DNS: run ipconfig /flushdns in Terminal, then reload the page.
4. Run ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew.
