Printer offline
The printer is not reachable
What it means
Windows still has the printer in its list but cannot open a connection to it, so jobs wait in the queue.
Common causes
- The printer is off or asleep
- It is on another network or lost its IP
- The queue is set to work offline
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off and on and check its display for errors.
- Print the network configuration page and compare its IP with the port Windows uses.
- In the print queue, turn off "Use Printer Offline" and resume the queue.
- Restart the router and the spooler, then print a test page.
