STORE_DATA_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION

What it means

Windows' compressed memory store was damaged, usually by RAM or storage problems.

Common causes

• Faulty RAM
• Storage driver problems

How to fix it

1. Test the RAM: run Windows Memory Diagnostic (search mdsched) or MemTest86 from a USB stick. Any error means a stick or its speed setting is the problem.
2. Undo any overclock or undervolt, including XMP/EXPO memory profiles, and test at stock settings for a day.
3. Update the storage (NVMe or chipset) driver.
4. Open Terminal (Admin) and run sfc /scannow, then DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Restart afterwards.
