Store download stuck at 0%

A Store download stays at 0 percent

What it means

The Store queued the download but never received data, so progress stays at the same number while nothing happens.

Common causes

• A pending update holding the download queue
• A network filter blocking the delivery endpoints
• A full or failing system drive

How to fix it

1. Pause and resume the download, then restart the Store from Task Manager.
2. Install all pending Windows updates first; their downloads can block the Store queue.
3. Check free space on C: and run wsreset.exe if the queue is still stuck.
