VAN 9003

This build of Vanguard requires Secure Boot

What it means

Riot Vanguard (Valorant, League) needs Secure Boot on Windows 11, and it is off.

Common causes

• Secure Boot turned off in the BIOS
• Legacy/CSM boot mode

How to fix it

1. Check msinfo32: Secure Boot State should say On and BIOS Mode UEFI.
2. In the BIOS, switch CSM off, keep UEFI and enable Secure Boot (load default keys if asked).
3. If the disk is MBR, Windows must be converted to GPT first with mbr2gpt - back up before.
