WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
What it means
The hardware itself reported an error it could not fix: CPU, RAM, board or power.
Common causes
- Overclock or undervolt
- Overheating
- Unstable power or failing hardware
How to fix it
- Undo any overclock or undervolt, including XMP/EXPO memory profiles, and test at stock settings for a day.
- Check CPU temperatures under load with HWiNFO.
- Update the motherboard BIOS only if the board maker lists a stability fix for your CPU (follow their exact steps).
- Test the RAM: run Windows Memory Diagnostic (search
mdsched) or MemTest86 from a USB stick. Any error means a stick or its speed setting is the problem.
