Windows error 1450

ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES

What it means

Windows ran out of a system resource such as memory, handles or paged pool, so the operation could not continue.

Common causes

• A program leaking handles or memory
• Too many programs open
• A driver consuming paged pool

How to fix it

1. Close programs and restart the PC to release handles.
2. Watch Task Manager and Resource Monitor for the process that keeps growing.
3. Let Windows manage the page file.
4. If one app grows until it fails, update or replace it; report the leak to its maker.
