Find the real error
The launcher writes a log with the anti-cheat step it failed on. The dialog on screen is generic; the log names the driver or the feature.
%LOCALAPPDATA%
A game that closes on launch with a kernel-level anti-cheat is usually fighting another driver, a virtual machine or a Windows feature. The error log names the conflict.
Read the launcher's log, then remove or disable the conflicting component: **test signing**, **virtualisation leftovers**, a **hypervisor** or an **overlay**. Anti-cheat that needs a reboot needs a clean boot.

%LOCALAPPDATA%
A machine left in test-signing or driver-debug mode refuses most kernel anti-cheat. Both are switchable from a terminal with a reboot.
bcdedit /enum {current}
Hyper-V, the virtual machine platform and the sandbox all expose a hypervisor that some anti-cheat treats as a virtual machine. Disabling them requires a reboot and a reboot to restore.

FPS counters, capture tools and RGB software hook the game process. The anti-cheat sees that as tampering and closes the game.
A clean boot loads Microsoft services only. If the game starts, enable half the third-party services and repeat to find the one that blocks it.
msconfig > Services > Hide all Microsoft services
Support can read the anti-cheat log faster than any forum thread. Attach it with the exact driver versions and the Windows build number.
winver
An update on either side. Check the game and the anti-cheat service versions.
Update or remove that driver. A monitoring tool is the usual culprit.
That is the conflict. Disable the feature while playing.
The anti-cheat kicked in after loading. Check the log at that timestamp.
Most kernel anti-cheat blocks it. That is deliberate.
No. The next normal boot restores every service.
Re-enable test-signing, virtualisation features and the services you disabled, then reboot. The machine returns to its previous state.
